Let’s talk about my July Favorites! I don’t know about you, but this summer has FLOWN by! I cannot believe we are just weeks away from school starting. I wanted to share a few things that I have been really loving this summer! Below you will find all my faves from this month!
Tula Sunscreen
I have been LOVING the Tula sunscreen this summer. I’ve been looking for a sunscreen that doesn’t have awful ingredients, is light, and stays on really well. I have tried a few and this is my top pick! I wear it every day under my make up and doesn’t feel thick on my face. It does have a sunscreen scent, but nothing overpowering.
Kristin Ess Purple Conditioner
My absolute favorite purple conditioner and you can find it at Target for $12. My hair is noticeably lighter, so much that people have asked me several times if I got my hair highlighted recently. A friend of mine used it for a girls night and we all could not get over how quickly it lightened up her blonde! She looked amazing!!
Aerie Boyfriend Tee
I have been living in these tees this summer! They’re really an oversized fit, so they’ll be a great fall transition piece with leggings. There are tons of different options and colors, which I love. But do NOT buy the destroyed version unless you like a lot of holes in your shirt.
Quay Sunglasses
I LOVE my quay sunglasses. I have about 6 pairs, no lie. They are really versitle and I feel fit every face really well. Plus they are always having a good sale. These are the glasses I own:
Maybelline Superstay Lip Ink
I am a sucker for a good drugstore lipstick, mainly because my little ones end up playing in my make up so I will not be spending a ton on lipstick anytime soon. The Maybelline Superstay is an amazing line with tons of different shade. The stain really stays on well. I also own the crayon and love the feel of it on, but it doesn’t stay on quite as long. I usually will layer this with some burts beeswax!
Barefaced Toning Pads
Yaalllll. These are a gamechanger and have really helped save my skin this summer. I went a little slack on my skincare this spring and really messed up my skin. I added these back nightly and they have really helped my breakouts. Some people can use them morning and night, but my skin is on the sensitive side so I only use them at night. Follow Jordan Harper for all the deets.
Old Navy High Impact Bra
I honestly bought this just because it was on super sale and I could always use another workout bra, but this is by far my favorite high impact bra out there. It’s the most comfortable sports bra I own. I love the zipper in the front because it’s super annoying to have to undo a really sweaty bra. It has adjustable straps and actual bra sizing. I feel like I could go on and on, but you need this.
Running Shorts
These running shorts have been my favorite to grab this summer for all workouts. They just fit really well and I love the length. There are a ton of color options to choose from, but I love this neon yellow SO MUCH. TTS.
Crop Workout Tank
I have this in two colors now and definitely love were it cuts off. Perfect for running shorts or leggings. It’s super thin and breathable. It’s not a tight top, but I wouldn’t say oversized. Just a normal fit. I honestly just love how its pretty plain and classic. Nothing fancy. Just a really great workout tank.
Discerning the Voice of God
did my first Priscilla Shierer study this spring and loved it so much, I decided to do another one this summer. She is such a wise woman and I love her directness and her authenticity. I also love a good study where you are actually flipping through the bible and getting deeper into it. It’s a really good clarifying study on hearing His voice and the Holy spirit. The days tend to be longer, so a lot of times I break up the days, but it’s really good. There is a video portion for a group to do, so if you can find some girlfriends to do it with you, I would recommend that. But I’ve done it alone without the video and have gotten so much out of it!
