Sausage Ball Recipe and Gift Guides, Oh My!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! We are in the process of getting things ready at the house for tomorrow. Our big party is SUPER fun and I cannot wait! Then we are headed to the mountains to get our Christmas tree! The next few days are some of my very favorite! Excited and overwhelmed, but I’ll get there. I told my best friend yesterday, not sure how it’s going to get done but it will, may not be fun during it but it will get done.

Sausage Ball Recipe

Ingredients:

3 cups of bisquick
1 pound uncooked bulk pork sausage
4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (16 ounces)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley or 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
Barbecue sauce or chili sauce, if desired

Directions:

Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease bottom and sides of 15x10x1-inch pan.
In large bowl, stir together all ingredients except barbecue sauce, using hands or spoon. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place in pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm with sauce for dipping.

Buffalo Pimiento Cheese with Celery Sticks

Ingredients:

1 16 oz block extra sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
1 16oz block extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 jar diced pimientos, drained
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
celery sticks

Directions:

Beat cheese, pimientos, nuts, mayonnaise, buffalo sauce, garlic salt, and pepper in a large bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until just combined. Serve with celery sticks.

** Can make up to 3 days ahead; store it, covered in refrigerator
