5 Easy Dinners (when you don’t feel like cooking)

If you’re looking for quick easy ideas, I GOT YOU.

Sometimes you realllly just don’t feel like cooking or using your brain anymore, but these people that live with you still need to be fed. Life is crazy. Dinner doesn’t need to be complicated or hard to have everyone fed. And by all means, order out if you can!! But if you are needing to cook, heere are my go tos! They are really quick to make with very few ingredients and brain power! 😉

Chicken Tacos

  1. 1 lb of frozen chicken
  2. 1 can of black beans
  3. 1 can of rotel
  4. 1 packet of taco seasoning
  5. Your choice of taco toppings

Throw everything in the crockpot on low for 6-8 hours. When ready, take chicken out and shred. Return to crockpot and serve with tacos or chips. BAM.

Easy Burgers with Roasted Sweet Potatoes

  1. 1 lb ground beef
  2. 2 tablespoons Dale’s Seasoning
  3. Buns 
  4. 2 sweet potatoes
  5. Condiments 
  6. Salt and pepper
  7. Olive Oil

Preheat oven to 375. Cut potatoes into fry looking shape. Toss in olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Put potatoes in oven for 40 min. Then take your ground beef and empty in a bowl. Add Dale’s seasoning. Squish it all together until the seasoning is fully mixed. Form hamburger patties. Cook on skillet for about 6-7 min each side or until there is no pink center. Add cheese if desired! Serve!

Spaghetti with Hidden Veggies

  1. Spaghetti noodles
  2. Spaghetti sauce 
  3. 1-2 cups of spinach (depending on how much sauce you use)
  4. Ground beef or turkey

Cook noodles as stated on box. Chop spinach into VERY small pieces. The smaller the better. Brown ground beef or turkey. Drain grease. Add sauce. Bring to a boil, add spinach, allow the spinach to cook for about 3-5 min or until spinach is really blended. Add sauce to noodles!

Buffalo Chicken Wraps

  1. 2 cups cooked chicken shredded (Grab a rotisserie chicken!!) 
  2. ½ cup buffalo sauce
  3. 1 cup shredded lettuce
  4. ¼ cup of ranch dressing. 
  5. 4 medium tortillas 
  6. Optional: cheese and tomato

Combine cooked chicken and buffalo sauce in a bowl and mix until fully combined. Lay out flour tortillas and divide the chicken up. Top with lettuce and ranch dressing! Can eat warm or cold!
